Short version: we collect minimal analytics to understand how the site is used. We don't sell anything. We don't track you across the internet.

Who runs this site
Psychedelics at Home is a personal project operated by Tim Hughes out of Tucson, Arizona. It is not a business entity, not a nonprofit, and not affiliated with any institution. The site is hosted on Netlify.
What we collect
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID: G-9HKVLDK2RN) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and what devices they use. This helps prioritize which content to build or improve.
Google Analytics collects data including your IP address (which Google anonymizes), browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URL. This data is processed by Google under their own privacy policy. We do not combine this data with any other data source and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors.
What we don't collect
We don't collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information through the site itself. There are no accounts, no login systems, no cookies beyond what Google Analytics sets, and no tracking pixels from advertising networks. We do not run ads. We do not sell data. There is nothing to sell.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies (primarily _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These are first-party cookies set by our domain. You can block these through your browser settings or by using a tool like Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The site will function identically without them.
Third-party services
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when fonts are loaded. No other third-party services are embedded on the site at this time. If premium tools (like the future Stash Box app) are built, they will have their own privacy disclosures and will require explicit opt-in.
External links
This site links to external resources including crisis hotlines (Fireside Project, Never Use Alone, SAMHSA), research papers (via DOI links and PubMed), and Tim's Substack. These external sites have their own privacy policies and we have no control over their data practices.
Content disclaimer
The information on this site is for educational and harm reduction purposes. It is not medical advice. Nothing on this site should be interpreted as an endorsement of illegal activity. The goal is honest, accurate information — what you do with it is your decision and your responsibility.
Your rights
If you have questions about what data exists about your visit, or if you'd like to request that Google Analytics data associated with your visit be deleted, contact Tim through Substack. In practice, GA4 data is aggregated and not tied to identifiable individuals, so there's usually nothing specific to delete.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — particularly if new tools or services are added that collect additional data — this page will be updated with the date of the change. No email notifications exist for policy changes because we don't collect email addresses.
